Look up ”free battlemap assets" in Google and search through those results. You have to register and dig through the posts, but I found some decent PNGs that would make pretty good stamps. People post some really nice map assets in the Cartographer's Guild Forum. It's not difficult once you get the hang of it. You can also hunt around for some free map assets for fantasy maps and battle maps and and learn to make your own stamp brushes.
You can spend a lot of money, but you don't have to. I know you said free, but there are some really nice cartography sets out there for not much money on Etsy and Gumroad, like this one for $4.50: 200 Fantasy Set Procreate Brushes
I just found these on Google by searching, "cartography brushes Procreate free" so if you're not willing to play, you'll be hunting around for a while and collecting random styles and what not, but they aren't too hard to find.
